X iaomi has revealed a few new details about the Redmi 1S at the event in Bangalore. The company will be launching the smartphone sometime in the first week of September, at a price tag that could be even lower than Rs 6,999, which it had announced earlier . The Redmi 1S will be available exclusively on Flipkart and will follow the same flash sale model as the Mi 3. In other words, you will have to pre-register before a scheduled sale and quickly reserve a unit on the day of sale. But unlike the Mi 3, Xiaomi has promised that there will be more units of the Redmi 1S on launch. Xiaomi has also announced that the Redmi 1S accessories will be launched alongside the smartphone.
